In the heart of East London's Docklands, our Warehouse Bar & Restaurant is next door to Excel and just five minutes from Canary Wharf on the Elizabeth Line. We're also easily accessible via the DLR.
By Elizabeth line
Custom House station is just a short walk from The Fox, with direct Elizabeth line connections across London. It’s one of the easiest ways to reach Excel and the Docklands, especially if you’re travelling from central London, Paddington, Liverpool Street or Heathrow.
By DLR
The Docklands Light Railway also serves Custom House, with connections across East London, Canary Wharf, Stratford, Bank and Tower Gateway. From Custom House, follow signs for Excel London and the main concourse.
From Excel London
If you’re already at Excel London, you’ll find us directly on the concourse, making us an easy meeting point before, during or after your event. We’re ideal for quick coffees, casual lunches, post-event drinks, private gatherings and larger group bookings.
Approximately a 3 minute walk:
1. Exit Excel Exhibition Centre near the main entrance (western), by the glass pyramid.
2. Once outside, turn to your right and walk down the stairs beside the pyramid.
3. At the bottom of the stairs, cross the road directly ahead.
4. Continue straight, Fox Excel will be right there, entry by The Terrace.
Alternative access point: if you're arriving via Custom House Station (Elizabeth Line), exit through the Excel/Custom House side and walk towards the Excel building. Fox Excel is a short walk, on your right hand side on the concourse.
From London City Airport
London City Airport is nearby, making The Fox a convenient stop for visitors flying in or out of the Docklands. The journey is quick by taxi, DLR or public transport, depending on your schedule.
By car / parking
If you're travelling by car, follow directions for Excel London and the Royal Docks (E16 1FR). There's no parking at The Fox itself, but a few good options nearby:
