Fellowship at The Fox
Fellowship at the Fox Excel
Saturday 16th August - from 6pm til late
“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”
We take the words of Thorin Oakenshield to heart and offer weary travellers and fantasy fans a place to gather.
Welcome to the world of the Shire, Gondolin, Riverdell, Bree, Eldoran...
Join with hobbits, elves, wizards, rangers - and maybe a few orcs, witches, and shape-shifters at our gathering for all who embrace the Lord of the Rings. Held at the Fox bar and restaurant, this is the after party for the Love of Fantasy show where from 6pm - 2am, you can continue meeting, mingling, sharing tales and enjoying vittles.
What’s even better is that the Fox is literally right next door to the ExCeL. So no ponies, rafts, taxis, oliphaunts, or ents needed to get here.
“Where there's life, there's hope, and need of vittles….”

The FoxExcel - Rules of the Realm
By Order of the Innkeeper and the Council of Elrond
Hear ye, travelers of Middle-earth! These ancient laws govern all who would enter the hallowed halls of The Fox Tavern:
* All fellowship members must present themselves at the gates of The Fox ‘ere the bells toll nine times. Bear thy parchment of passage, ready for the Gatekeeper's inspection. Those who arrive when darkness has fully fallen may find themselves compelled to purchase a new passage at the door - at a price that would make even a Dwarf's purse weep. (Arrive before 9pm, with your ticket ready to be scanned or a new ticket may be needed).
*The Doorwardens, wise in the ways of safety, shall conduct searches of all bags and persons entering our realm.
*No food nor drink from the lands beyond may cross into our domain.
*No coin shall change hands within these walls. All ales, wines, and victuals must be purchased through the mystical card-tokens, as favoured by the Elves of Rivendell. (Cashless venue).
*This tavern serves only those who have reached their majority - eighteen years upon Middle-earth. Should you appear as young as a Hobbit in the flower of youth, you must present proof of your true age. (Over 18's only).
*The path of no return. Heed this warning well: once you depart these halls, your ticket becomes as worthless as the Ring after Mount Doom's fire. No re-entry shall be granted.
“This day does not belong to one man but to all. Let us together rebuild this world that we may share in the days of peace.” — Aragorn
