No celebration is complete without good food... and plenty of it. Choosing a venue that can cater to a range of dietary needs isn’t just thoughtful, it’s essential. Whether your guests are vegan, gluten-free, or have other specific requirements, ensuring everyone feels included at the table makes for a more enjoyable and inclusive event. We offer a strong selection of vegan and gluten-free options, making it easier to accommodate all tastes and needs.
If you're craving a traditional festive feast, The Fox Excel has you covered with a delicious selection of dishes at great value. Choose between two or three courses, which is perfect if you are feeling a little peckish or ready to indulge. Tuck into classic mains like roast turkey or salmon and round off your meal with a festive favourite like Christmas pudding or a zesty slice of lemon cheesecake.
We also offer a finger buffet menu. It's perfect for grazing while you dance, sip, and socialise. Enjoy a tempting spread of bite-sized favourites, from crowd-pleasers like Pigs in Blankets to fiery picks like Chilli Cheese Bites.
Entertainment that makes spirits bright
The right entertainment should enhance and reflect your event’s atmosphere and style. Whether you're planning something elegant, playful, or out-of-the-box, choosing acts that align with your theme can really elevate the experience (we'll dive into themes a bit later). Our network includes a wide variety of options, from casino tables and circus performers to interactive experiences like scavenger hunts. These unexpected elements can bring a sense of fun and surprise, that guests will be talking about for a long time.
Size & sleigh bells: getting your guest list just right
Once you’ve sent out the staff email and gathered a list of confirmed partygoers, it’s time to find a venue that can accommodate your group. Look for somewhere that offers a bit of flexibility. Plans can change, and it’s always helpful if your venue can handle the occasional last-minute cancellation or extra guest. Plenty of places are happy to work with you to make things run smoothly (ourselves included!).
Our Full Warehouse Bar can host up to 900 standing guests or 300 seated, offering the perfect setting for a festive celebration. With its rustic charm, characterful details, and a warm glow from twinkling fairy lights, it’s a magical backdrop for any event. Guests can relax and mingle, hit the dance floor, and enjoy a fully stocked bar, all before the food arrives.
For more intimate gatherings, we offer a range of private spaces, ideal for smaller groups. The Mez is perfect for seated parties of up to 20 guests, while our bespoke Basement Bar offers seating for 70 and standing space for up to 100. These areas provide a sense of privacy, ideal for relaxed conversations or playing your own music without disturbing others. The Basement Bar also features a fully stocked private bar, giving guests that VIP experience with exclusive access to drinks in their own space.
Theme Dreams: From Classic Christmas to Full-On Fantasy
Whether you love it or hate it, a themed event can tie the whole experience together to make it memorable. Paper chains and bunting works for Christmas parties in school. Bold and imaginative ideas will be the talk of the office. The classic magical Winter Wonderland (complete with faux snow) always impresses. If you want to go for the unexpected, a Superhero soirée, Casino Royale, or a glamorous masked ball may do the trick. The right theme gets everyone in the spirit (and provides great pictures for Instagram). If you are stuck for ideas, we are more than happy to help.
